Bronx Park Teacher Led Activities Afterschool Clubs and Activities

Knitting

Students learn the skill of self reliance by knitting their own gloves, scarfs, hats. These items will also be used to fundraise for trips!

Band

Students can choose from various instruments, such as trumpet, flute, piano, clarinet, trombone, or drums. Members learn how to read sheet music and care for their instrument, while preparing for a yearly concert!

Rockets, Space and Planes

Enjoy hands on STEAM lessons that includes kite making, rocket launching, robotics, flight simulation and more!

Robotics

The robotics club completes STEAM activities including working with computer programs, legos, and programmable robots in each session. Students learn through play and interaction in this fun group!

Art

The middle school art club allows students opportunities to work on pieces they are passionate about and also help to beautify the school!

Anime

Students watch and discuss various Anime videos. This also helps students explore other cultures while encouraging students to read via subtitles.

Academic Hours

Students can work with their own teachers after school to complete assignments and reinforce skills learned.

Soapbox Derby Team

Design, build and race a soapbox derby car. Competitions are held in our district during the spring.

Student Council

Students will learn and understand the power of democracy through Student Government roles and responsibilities.

Gardening

Students not only learn the benefits of growing their own produce, but also help beautify the campus garden.

Flowcademy Academic and Test Prep

Students can join our teachers afterschool and on weekends to reinforce skills learned in academic classes as well as prepare for State and Regents exams
